Flood Relief Distribution
As you know that heavy rainfall, combined with the release of water from upstream sources, has led to severe flooding in several districts of Bangladesh in August 2024. This relentless rain, coupled with upstream water inflows, has caused major rivers such as the Surma-Kushiara, Manu, Khowai, and Feni to overflow, severely inundating low-lying districts including Moulvibazar, Habiganj, Sylhet, Feni, Cumilla, Noakhali, Khagrachhari, Brahmanbaria, Chattogram, Lakshmipur, and Cox's Bazar.
SPT collected fund both nationally and internationally for flood affected people in Bangladesh. It then distributied food and medicines in relief shelters and remote locations at Feni and Noakhali
through SPT's dedicated volunteers and staff.
