Riverbank erosion has continued to be a major environmental issue for the Meghna River, which made hundreds of families homeless in Laxmipur. SPT has donated land at Laxmipur to develop a public cemetery and pay for the funeral services to partially address the issue of the lack of public cemeteries. In addition, SPT has been donating tube wells to families at Noakhali and donated a deep tube well at Rohingya camp, Cox’s Bazaar, Chittagong to aid access to clean water.
